Trekking
Visit North Cyprus and explore the magnificent and literally untouched nature in the mountains. Walking tours are available for all types of difficulties and duration. We put together small groups of 3-4 people (of course larger if required), with a costing of £20 – £25 per person, including a Cypriot lunch or dinner in little village restaurants up in the mountains. Our multi lingual guides have walked in the Himalaya Mountains and in Japan. Experience with us the pure nature of Cyprus...
Contact us to arrange your walking tour prior to your arrival, to avoid disappointment.
Sea Turtles
Turtles still nest on sandy beaches around Kyrenia, on the Karpaz peninsula and in Famagusta Bay. Both green and loggerhead turtles are listed as endangered species and are heavily protected. You can watch the turtles under the supervision of the Society for the Protection of Turtles (SPOT). This is by far the best way to both see and help the turtles, as even visiting nesting beaches during the breeding season can seriously affect the turtles’ welfare. The research team at Alagadi Beach near Kyrenia both night and dawn beach surveys to check on hatching activity and you can join them on their night patrols. Full details are available at reception.
